A history platform, made by young historians aged 18-30 - for historians of the future!

How it All Began

The Young Historians was part of a long vision to make history more accessible. For years I considered history as a career path but was concerned that its competitive nature has made good history relatively inaccessible to the general public. But the Young Historians was founded as the solution to that problem, a way of building a platform to ensure historians, both academic and freelance of the future all have an equal chance of success and always have a platform to show their work on. The foundations of the idea sat in my mind for a while, but it was only when I suggested it to a group of other Young Historians that the realisation took place. That leads us to where we are today. We hope our writers deliver fascinating history for all - so that as historians we can flourish, and that our platform will arise and go from strength to strength.
